funny how things work out

so this time I didn't have to blow the candles from a cake or see a shooting star to get what I wanted. I'm happier than I've been in a while. Seriously whoever said second chances don't do anybody any good was dumb. With the right conditions things can work out for the better. Ironically, I met him 3 years ago in a place we prolly won't ever even visit again. I've had my ups && downs w/him && if you knew the whoooole story you'd think it was pretty crazy too.
Those 3 years don't compare to the past month though...Idk if it's the fact that I'm getting old but I can honestly say I'm kinda scared, not of losing him but of this being for real, if that makes any sense. It's just so funny when you look back and see how things worked out.

Sometimes you know right off the bat if something is going to last...this is one of those times. I don't know how long but I know it'll last......Thanx for changing my world. <3

I wish I got the one thing I've been wishing for, but I'm always too far away && "out of reach"....that && boys suck =P. oh well what u gonna do?!?! can't wait to go back to austin...i'm so much more free!....&& maybe over there things will start to happen ;].....I'm not gonna lie life in the valley is alright, just not all the time. clubbing w/the girls, sleepovers, being w/the family, sleeping till forever, not going to sleep till the morning, getting wisdom teeth taken out && it not beeing too bad =]]

visit me in austin...yes or yes??? we can chill && maybe cuddle if you're lucky

....in the valley!!!!! I've learned to love Austin weather =/

Oh well life at home has been ok, though I need to discover a hobby && soon cuz I get really bored here...Christmas is 5 days away!!! I don't really expect anything but I'm still excited =]] My laptop is my christmas present to me && I can't ask for anything else, I love everything about it especially the webcam ;) haha. Anyways I seriously can't wait to go back, but I wish my friends would get on the ball && set a date so I can see them! That's it for now....bring me a movie, will u?

ahh da memories...

soooooooooooo it's but 5 days till my final && that means......my FIRST college semester has come to an end!!!!! UT has been great to me, I wouldn't trade it for the world. In just one semester I've had so many "you 'member!" moments.

- anybody who text me or called me: hey, what u doing?; me[every single time]: In the studio!

- UT Football!!!! TEXAAAAS FIIIIIIGHT!.....UT Volleyball!!! POINT TEXAS!

- Capital Metro busses + bus drivers + strikes==soooo many adventures

- trips to the mall to waste money we don't have!

- freezing our asses off...no one knows how fun scarfs can be

- 6th street....it's what's been missing from my life...let's club?!?!

- noodles!!!...."don't climb on the art please!"

- we've kinda taken up bowling as a hobby =]]

- wings have become a weekly thing.....&& I have yet to get anywhere close to the freshmen 15!

- I'm poor.....but it's ok so is everybody else!

- Vero: you're right 1 floor is way too far away

- Edica: best roomie ever...don't sleep too much

So, yes that's life and I can't wait to do it all over again next semester =]]

another week has come && gone. This week, like life itself, had its ups and downs but I must say it started off awesomely && ended just as great.

So to start off I saw my bestest friend in the whole wide world/brotha from anotha motha/poo poo face slut =]]! Ric, duh! he gave me my bday card finally a month later, that b! but I got my kiss on the forehead. anyways I had the best time; lunch, movie, pool, bowling, wendy's, && part of another movie...busy busy day, I f-ing missed him; love you, b!

so after my good weekend came school. ugh! My color model sucked *** and I've officially decided to switch my major from architecture to architectural engineering....yes there's a difference!!! so that's that if u have any advice i'll take it! I had my first college test ever and I kinda crammed the night before('til 4:30 in the morning!) not the best but not the worst idea =] I think I did good but I won't know until thurs, so we'll see.

the week finally finished and the weekend came along && it came time for some roommate time for me and edica since vero was going bye bye to the valley. friday we learned how to use the bus system to go to chili's, yey!!! It was damn good =]]. && met the funniest/silliest guy ever...funny story for reals fyi mexicans speak english, u know && edica is not from india. saturday we went out again and spent more money at plucker's and watched part of the game (hook 'em horns!!!) and finally sunday caro, nancy, and nubia came to visit when our room was a mess!!!....good weekend (&& week) overall, i must say.

a good beginning will make a good ending...

So, after forever I turned 18 && life finally took off for me when I moved to UT. =]] independence. freedom. responsibility! Ay, I feel all grown up! I've just experienced so much this first month && so much change has happened.

• Money wise: I don't have my parents to give me money anymore which sux really bad! I've had to use my own money. =[[ And dude that sux when u're a damn architecture major and have to buy a 400$ kit && crap for every project we have.
• Time wise: Time has become the devil! Deadlines suck; they should've never been invented, ever! Architecture takes up most of my time and it's made me miss all my shows and spend lots less time in the dorm w/ friends. =/
• Food wise: Being the fatty that I am, food is a big part of my life. =P Unfortunately, J2 && JCL have become my source of food && btw cafeteria food is nothing compared to my mom's cooking. If anybody wants to get me some homemade food, you're more than welcomed to.
• School wise: that's what I'm here for duh! So, college works differently from high school. I haven't missed a class though yey caro!...I do, however, dislike hearing that stupid alarm early in the morning. I pulled my first all-nighter for school ever last friday && I've decided that I'll never do that again. I've learned to miss high school cuz everything was so f-ing easy && anybody could just bs their way through it && I can't do that now. At the end, it'll be worth it.
• Family wise: I've only gone down to the valley once && I haven't been as homesick as I thought I would be. Yet, I still miss hanging out w/my mom and my dad being silly. && lily!!! ay that little girl was the highlight of my day, errday.
• Friend wise: I miss them all!!! I have edica, vero, and danny here and that's mainly who I've hung out with. Those endless hours in the studio have let me gained some friends in architecture though. && edica and I made our first move to becoming friends to other ppl in our hall so the improvement is coming along.

So, that's my first month in a nutshell. (plus I became a texas exes student chapter member, went clubbin' at sixth, actually fifth, street && i went to my first longhorn football && volleyball games ever, yey)
